Your 15-Day India Wildlife and Culture Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Delhi

Vivanta Dwarka, Delhi

Upon arrival at Indira Gandhi International Airport, our representative will greet you with a warm welcome and assist with your luggage and transfer.
Your hotel, Vivanta Dwarka, is located approximately 10 km from the airport (20–30 minutes’ drive), offering a convenient and comfortable start to your journey.
Enjoy a refreshing welcome drink on arrival and a smooth check-in process.
The remainder of the day is at leisure to relax and recover from your international flight: you may unwind in your modern room, visit the hotel spa, or enjoy one of the fine restaurants on-site.

Day 2: Jaipur: Jhalana Leopard Reserve

Hyatt Place, Jaipur

After breakfast, embark on a scenic drive to Jaipur, Rajasthan’s vibrant capital (approx. 4 hours / 270 km).
Arrive in Jaipur and check in at Hyatt Place, Jaipur, known for its modern comforts and excellent service.
In the late afternoon, head to Jhalana Leopard Reserve, which spans approximately 20 sq km. This compact reserve is famous for its high density of leopards living in close proximity to the city.
Jhalana’s semi-arid landscape, rocky outcrops, and scrub forests offer excellent photographic opportunities.
During the safari, you may encounter Indian Wildlife highlights like leopards, jackals, blue bulls (nilgai), peafowl, and a variety of birdlife.
Return to your hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3: Jaipur – Safari & City Tour

Hyatt Place, Jaipur

Begin your day early with another safari at Jhalana Leopard Reserve to maximize chances of observing wildlife in soft morning light.
After breakfast at the hotel, proceed for a half-day guided tour of Jaipur’s historic highlights:
- Amber Fort: An imposing fortress with intricate architecture and sweeping hilltop views.
- City Palace: A royal residence with impressive museums showcasing Rajasthani art, textiles, and artifacts.
- Hawa Mahal: The iconic “Palace of Winds,” known for its honeycomb-like facade.
Return to hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Days 4–5: Ranthambore Arrival & Safaris

Ranthambore Kothi, Ranthambore

Ranthambore is one of India’s best-known tiger reserves, recognised for its individually documented tigers and distinctive landscape of dry forest, lakes, rocky ridges and historic ruins.
After breakfast in Jaipur, drive to Ranthambore National Park (approx. 3 hours / 160 km).
Check in at Ranthambore Kothi, a boutique wildlife lodge offering excellent comfort and natural ambiance.
In the afternoon, depart for your first jeep safari at Ranthambore, one of India’s most famous tiger reserves covering about 1,334 sq km. This is one of the tour’s principal highlights of your Indian Wildlife and Culture Tour.
The park’s landscape includes dense forest, lakes, and the dramatic Ranthambore Fort backdrop.
Wildlife highlights include Royal Bengal Tigers, leopards, sambar deer, wild boars, sloth bears, and over 300 species of birds.
The next day begins with an early morning safari for another opportunity to see Ranthambore’s legendary tigers and other wildlife.
Return to lodge for breakfast and leisure time to relax or enjoy lodge amenities.
Afternoon safari exploring a different zone of the park, offering varied landscapes and wildlife viewing.

Day 6: Birding at Keoladeo National Park, Bharatpur

Club Mahindra, Bharatpur

After breakfast at Ranthambore, drive to Bharatpur (approx. 4 hours / 180 km).
Arrive and check in at Club Mahindra Bharatpur, conveniently located near the sanctuary.
In the afternoon, visit Keoladeo National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the world’s finest bird sanctuaries (approx. 29 sq km).
Explore the park on foot and by rickshaw safari, offering excellent birdwatching opportunities. You will witness the variety of Indian Wildlife here from winter migratory birds to the mammals.
Key species include Sarus Cranes, Painted Storks, Asian Openbills, Spoonbills, Great White Pelicans, various kingfishers, herons, cormorants, and winter migrants from Central Asia and Siberia.
Learn about the park’s rich wetland ecology and its significance as a migratory bird hotspot.
Return to hotel after sunset for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 7: Agra – Taj Mahal & City Tour

Radisson Hotel, Agra

After breakfast, drive to Agra (2 hours / 55 km).
Check in at Radisson Hotel, Agra, offering modern comforts and a convenient location.
Visit the majestic Taj Mahal, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the Seven Wonders of the World.
After lunch, visit Agra Fort, an impressive 16th-century Mughal fort known for its palaces, courtyards, and views of the Taj Mahal.
Optional visit to Mehtab Bagh for sunset views of the Taj Mahal across the Yamuna River.
Dinner and overnight stay.

Days 8–9: Panna Arrival & Safari Experience

Tendu Leaf Jungle Resort, Panna

Panna combines dramatic gorges, the Ken River, teak forests and open grasslands, creating varied settings for tiger safaris, birdwatching and landscape photography.
Board early morning Vande Bharat Express to Khajuraho (approx. 5.5 hours) — a smooth, comfortable journey offering glimpses of rural India’s diverse landscapes and village life.
Arrive at Khajuraho station and drive to Panna Tiger Reserve (approx. 1 hour / 45 km), one of central India’s most scenic and lesser-known wilderness areas.
Check in at Tendu Leaf Jungle Resort, a cozy retreat surrounded by forest. offering rustic comfort and an authentic jungle stay experience.
Afternoon at leisure — relax, enjoy the lodge’s natural ambiance, or explore the surroundings while listening to birdsong and forest sounds.
The next day, enjoy morning and afternoon jeep safaris in Panna Tiger Reserve (approx. 542 sq km), a beautiful landscape of dramatic gorges, teak forests, grasslands, and the Ken River.
Panna is a remarkable conservation success under Project Tiger, with its tiger population making an inspiring recovery.
Wildlife highlights include Royal Bengal Tigers, leopards, sloth bears, mugger crocodiles, Indian vultures, paradise flycatchers, racket-tailed drongos, kingfishers, and other rare birds.

Days 10–11: Bandhavgarh Arrival & Safaris

Kings Lodge, Bandhavgarh

Morning safari at Panna followed by breakfast at the lodge.
Drive to Bandhavgarh National Park (approx. 5 hours / 220 km).
Check in at Kings Lodge, a premium wildlife lodge near the Tala zone entrance.
Evening at leisure to enjoy lodge amenities or a guided nature walk.
The next day, enjoy morning and afternoon jeep safaris in Bandhavgarh Tiger Reserve (approx. 716 sq km), famous for one of India’s highest tiger densities, a remarkable place to witness Indian Wildlife.
The park’s dramatic landscape features steep cliffs, sal forests, open meadows, and ancient ruins.
Other wildlife includes sambar deer, langurs, wild boar, jackals, and vibrant birdlife.

Days 12–13: Kanha Arrival & Wildlife Experience

Hotel: Earth Lodge, Kanha

Morning safari at Bandhavgarh followed by breakfast.
Drive to Kanha National Park (approx. 5 hours / 250 km).
Check in at Earth Lodge, an eco-luxury retreat surrounded by natural forest.
Evening at leisure; dinner and overnight stay.
The next day, enjoy morning and afternoon jeep safaris in Kanha Tiger Reserve (approx. 940 sq km), known for its sal forests, meadows, and streams.
Wildlife highlights include tigers, barasingha (swamp deer), leopards, Indian wild dogs, and gaur.

Days 14–15: Delhi City Tour

Vivanta Dwarka, Delhi (Day 14)

Day 14: Morning safari and final game drive at Kanha followed by breakfast and check-out.
Transfer to Jabalpur Airport for your scheduled flight to Delhi. Final flight timings will be confirmed according to the selected travel date.
Arrive in Delhi and transfer to Vivanta Dwarka.
Dinner and overnight stay at Vivanta Dwarka.
Day 15: Optional half-day Delhi sightseeing tour visiting Qutub Minar, Humayun’s Tomb, India Gate, and Connaught Place for shopping and cultural exploration.
Afternoon at leisure for packing or last-minute sightseeing.
Evening transfer to Indira Gandhi International Airport for onward journey.
