The cost depends on the duration, accommodation category, number of safaris, permit availability and vehicle-sharing arrangement. WOW’s 2 night/3 days fixed-departure package starts from ₹29,000 per person plus 5% GST on twin sharing for a group of 4. It includes four jeep safaris, accommodation, meals and return transfers from Khajuraho. Private tours and upgraded stays are priced separately.

Madla and Hinouta are the main gateways used for tourism, but there is no gate that is best on every visit. Wildlife movement changes daily, and safari allocation depends on permit availability. Madla is generally more convenient for travellers arriving from Khajuraho and offers a wider choice of accommodation nearby. Your lodge should be selected only after considering the confirmed safari gate.

Plan at least four safaris during a 2-night stay. Six to eight safaris over 3–4 nights provide more time to explore different habitats and respond to changing wildlife activity. No safari can guarantee a tiger or sloth bear sighting, so additional drives improve your opportunities and allow a more complete understanding of the reserve.

Tigers can be seen throughout the main tourism season. March to June generally offers better visibility as vegetation becomes drier and animals visit water sources more frequently. November to February provides cooler weather, attractive landscapes and more comfortable safari conditions. Choose the period according to whether your priority is photography, wildlife visibility or comfort.

Choose Panna for varied landscapes, sloth bears, the Ken River, vultures and the opportunity to combine wildlife with Khajuraho. Choose Bandhavgarh if your main priority is an intensive tiger-focused safari in a more compact tourism landscape. Combining both reserves creates a stronger Central India journey because their habitats and safari experiences are different.

Indian visitors normally need the identification details used while booking the permit. International visitors should provide their passport details and carry the same passport used for the reservation. Names and identification numbers must be entered correctly because permits may not be transferable. Exact requirements should be reconfirmed when booking.

The inclusions depend on the selected package. WOW’s fixed-departure tour includes twin-sharing accommodation, meals, return transfers from Khajuraho and four open-jeep safaris. Private tours can include customised accommodation, additional safaris, airport or railway transfers and extensions to Khajuraho, Bandhavgarh or other destinations. Yes. Panna offers opportunities to photograph tigers, sloth bears, crocodiles, vultures, birds and other wildlife across varied habitats. The Ken River, plateaus, rocky gorges and open ground make it particularly suitable for habitat-based photography rather than only close wildlife portraits. Sightings remain natural and cannot be guaranteed.
